We Never Know...

…what is round the next corner?

What – never? We NEVER know what is round the next corner? How can that be?

We think we know, we think we have it all covered…we plan for every eventuality, we prepare as much as we can for as much as we can…and then there is Life…

Yet isn’t that where the beauty lies? In not quite ever knowing exactly, precisely what is going to happen next… Isn’t that what makes life fun and spontaneous and joyful?

It doesn’t matter how much we plan (and believe me, I PLAN), there is a little sparkle in my eyes when something extraordinary happens, when I find myself saying “Oh, I didn’t expect that”.

So, whilst I might be considering packing EVERYTHING in my wardrobe for a mystery weekend away, I am also very happy to give up on second guessing and just go with the flow…and trust that whatever will be, will be.

So what if I end up wearing a ballgown on a country hike – at least I’ll be noticed!
